What about tax?
- Sponsorship is a deductible advertising expense against your taxable income (article 39-1-7° of the French tax code), as long as it serves your business and is proportionate to the visibility obtained.
- Your brand is clearly identified on the car, the race suit and our media, and an invoice is issued for this visibility service: it books as a standard advertising expense.
- This partnership is sponsorship, not philanthropy: it does not qualify for the 60% tax reduction of article 238 bis, which is reserved for donations to eligible non-profits. As always, check with your accountant.
